An insider from Apple short of Steve himself indicated that a CDMA version of the iPhone will soon be developed and distributed through Verizon, thus ending its exclusivity with AT&T. Many argue that this is a hoax due to immense amount of advertising spend by Verizon poking fun at the iPhone. Verizon claims that this is more a jab at the network, AT&T, as opposed to the phone itself.
