If you truly want to be successful in your career, two words: multitask!

For example, say that you’re an expert in, oh, Search Engine Marketing. If you’re ever in a bored meeting talking about Search Engine Marketing, pretend to look busy by bringing your laptop along. Don’t stop there, talk to your friends. Ask them if any of them need any advice on how to succeed in Search Engine Marketing. Multitask? Looking good in meeting by appearing busy AND building street cred by providing consulting services on the side.
